Water Saving Rebates

The great news is that there are a range of rain water tank rebates available, depending on where you live and what you are doing. There are also rebates available for the installation of approved grey water recycling systems. It is important to note that only rain water tanks that meet all relevant Australian Standards, and that are installed by a licensed plumber, are eligible to receive rain water tank rebates, and grey water rebates. Neco only sells qualifying rain water tanks, and all of our installations are carried out by Neco’s Plumber, so your rebate is safe.

The Australian Government will provide a rebate of $400 if you install a water tank of between 2,000 and 3,999 litres capacity, if you connect it to either your toilet or laundry. The rebate increases to $500 if the tank has a capacity of 4,000 litres or more. The Australian Government will also provide a rebate of $500 for the installation of a permanent grey water recycling system. Furthermore, the Victorian Government provides a $150 rebate if you install a tank with a capacity of at least 600 litres. That rebate increases to $500 if you install a tank of between 2,000 and 3,999 litres in capacity if it is connected to a toilet. The rebate increases to $900 if you install a tank of 4,000 litres or more if it is connected to a toilet. A rebate of $1,000 is available if you install a tank of 4,000 litres or more if it is connected to both your toilet and laundry.
