When you first contact Neco, you’re put in touch with a mature solar power expert – not a teenager in a call centre. Our Advisors will talk to you about your power usage, what you are looking to achieve with solar power, and then provide you with an indicative quote over the phone based on a satellite image of your home.

Our solar energy advisors are committed to helping you understand solar power so you can make an informed decision about the system that is right for you. They are also committed to ensuring that you get the best possible system at the best possible price, and can you talk you through what sort of solar rebate to expect, too. Our Advisors are extremely knowledgeable when it comes to solar power, and can answer any questions you may have.

After we have provided you with an indicative quote for solar power over the phone, we arrange a pre-purchase site inspection by our own A-Grade electrician. Our electricians will visit your home or business to check that it is suitable for solar power, and to confirm the indicative quote that you have received.

This free site inspection is your best protection against dodgy workmanship and hidden costs. Importantly, it gives you confidence in our ability to do the job right and within your budget. It is also an opportunity to confirm with our electrician exactly where you would like the solar panels and inverter placed. Our electricians can also answer any questions you may have.

The way we install solar power systems is a key part of what sets Neco apart. Our installers are all A-Grade Electricians and Clean Energy Council accredited solar installers. But over and above this, our solar energy installers have also been taught to install the Neco way. This means that conduit covers all of the cables entering your inverter, special seals are used around roof penetrations, and that extra care is taken to route cables in the neatest possible way. And it’s a given that all the cables, circuit breakers and ancillaries we use are over-engineered. We take real pride in the quality of our workmanship. That’s why we give all our customers a five year workmanship warranty on installations.

Many solar power companies take your money and then leave you waiting for 8-12 weeks while they arrange your installation. We think that isn't good enough, and so we work hard to give you an installation date within 48 hours of you placing an order, and we aim to complete your solar power installation within weeks after that. After installation, we prepare and submit all the paperwork required to get you connected to the grid ASAP.

We all know the importance and benefits of regularly servicing a vehicle. Failure to service a vehicle can result in costly repairs, and even reduce the vehicle's life. Likewise, your solar power system needs regular maintenance to ensure it performs at its best. The Neco Maintenance Plan is an affordable and hassle-free way to keep on top of your system maintenance, while extending your warranty (see below for details).

Your first maintenance plan check-up is free and will take place around 12 months after the date of installation. You can book a maintenance plan check at any time by calling us on 1300 882 640. For just $150 (including GST) a year it's money well spent. Maintenance plan check-ups are purchased on a year-by-year basis, and take about an hour to complete. All Neco solar power components come with a five year manufacturer's materials and workmanship warranty. You can extend the manufacturer's materials and workmanship warranty to 10 years by having an annual Neco Maintenance Plan Check-Up. To qualify for this extended warranty, you need to have a Neco Maintenance Plan Check-Up every year (ie. Year 1, Year 2, Year 3, Year 4, Year 5, Year 6, Year 7, Year 8, Year 9) for the extended warranty to apply. Each Neco Maintenance Plan Check-Up must occur within 15 months of the previous check-up. If you miss a Neco Maintenance Plan Check-Up (eg. in Year 4) and something goes wrong with the system at a later date (eg. in Year 8) the extended warranty will not apply. This is the case even if you have had a Neco Maintenance Plan Check-Up in Years 5-7. If you have had a Neco Maintenance Plan Check-Up every year and something goes wrong (eg. in Year 7), then the extended warranty will apply, regardless of whether you continue with Neco Maintenance Plan Check-Ups for Years 8 and 9. The maximum period of extended warranty is 10 years from the date of installation. Neco reserves the right to change the terms of the Neco Maintenance Plan Check-Up at any time.

Thinking about solar energy? Want the best deal? Well, the deal gets even better when you refer a friend to Neco and they go ahead with the installation of a solar power, hot water or rainwater tank from Neco. For every friend that you refer, you'll receive a $200 cheque.

Here's how it works:

1. Your friend must have signed a contract on or after the date of your signed acceptance

2. Your friend must validate you as the referrer verbally to a Neco advisor or in writing

3. You both must go ahead with the installation; if either pulls out the referral bonus is voided

The reward will be posted to you within 60 days of the date of the last installation. Neco reserves the right to change this offer at any time. There is no limit to the number of times you can receive this reward – if you're really committed, you could end up with a free solar power, hot water or rainwater tank system!
