The Neco Maintenance Plan is an affordable and hassle-free way to keep on top of your system maintenance, while extending your warranty (see below for details).
Your first maintenance plan check-up is free and will take place around 12 months after the date of installation. You can book a maintenance plan check at any time by calling us on 1300 882 640. For just $150 (including GST) a year it's money well spent. Maintenance plan check-ups are purchased on a year-by-year basis, and take about an hour to complete. All Neco solar power components come with a five year manufacturer's materials and workmanship warranty. You can extend the manufacturer's materials and workmanship warranty to 10 years by having an annual Neco Maintenance Plan Check-Up. To qualify for this extended warranty, you need to have a Neco Maintenance Plan Check-Up every year (ie. Year 1, Year 2, Year 3, Year 4, Year 5, Year 6, Year 7, Year 8, Year 9) for the extended warranty to apply. Each Neco Maintenance Plan Check-Up must occur within 15 months of the previous check-up. If you miss a Neco Maintenance Plan Check-Up (eg. in Year 4) and something goes wrong with the system at a later date (eg. in Year 8) the extended warranty will not apply. This is the case even if you have had a Neco Maintenance Plan Check-Up in Years 5-7. If you have had a Neco Maintenance Plan Check-Up every year and something goes wrong (eg. in Year 7), then the extended warranty will apply, regardless of whether you continue with Neco Maintenance Plan Check-Ups for Years 8 and 9. The maximum period of extended warranty is 10 years from the date of installation. Neco reserves the right to change the terms of the Neco Maintenance Plan Check-Up at any time.
